Steve Sala
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Sala serves as the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for all financial matters of the firm including financial reporting, managing the firm’s debt and equity relationships, and providing the optimal capital structure for SFP and its related entities and their respective transactions. Additionally, he serves as the Fund Manager for SFP Fund I, LLC and is responsible for all Investor Relations.

Mr. Sala’s background encompasses all aspects of finance most recently as CFO and director for Skaggs Companies, Inc. and President of S Four Enterprises, Inc., a family investment company. While at Skaggs, Mr. Sala was responsible for consolidating two major acquisitions, bank financing, and directing a corporate restructure for the nationwide retail and on-line operations. He has worked as a consultant and advisor to numerous local, closely-held small businesses.

Mr. Sala’s previous experience includes a 10-year banking career with Bank One and Wells Fargo (formerly First Interstate Bank). During his tenure he oversaw numerous wealth management groups in Utah and California. He was directly responsible for funding in excess of $250 million in transactions for real estate, commercial, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals. While at Bank One, Mr. Sala served as a board director of Bank One, Utah. Also, he has worked as a licensed investment advisor with Shearson Lehman Bros., formerly E.F. Hutton, and as an accountant with the accounting firm of Cooney & Phair in Newport Beach, California. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and a minor in Economics. He is a past board member with the Utah Bankers Association and has been actively involved with numerous charitable organizations, including current board member and past President of the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah.
