Bruce Shannon

Mr. Shannon is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization and is primarily responsible for structuring and negotiating deals with sellers and buyers. Mr. Shannon is actively involved in raising the required capital and managing the company on a day-to-day basis in conjunction with Mr. McKernon. Mr. Shannon is actively managing the company on a day-to-day basis. He is the son of E .L. Shannon, Jr., the former CEO of Santa Fe International Corporation (a global oil services firm, which has since been merged with Global Marine, www.gsfdrill.com ). He is the Managing Partner of Shannon Investments, LLC, an investment company involved in commercial real estate acquisitions and development based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is also on the board of directors of The Community Bank, located in southwest Kansas. Mr. Shannon is currently the President of Shannon Energy Corporation, which is an oil and gas production, land and mineral lease development company. Mr. Shannon has also been a partner in numerous enterprises: The Persimmon Creek Partnership, MKB Partnership, K-Net and is a trustee of various family trusts. Mr. Shannon was formerly a senior engineer with Amoco Production Company. Mr. Shannon is a licensed real estate agent and a Commissioner with the Charleston, Utah planning commission and is a graduate of the University of Southern California.
